Dear Friends,
READ: JOHN 10:1 THROUGH 11:57
Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, believed in him (John 11:45).
Imagine being present the day Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus hops out of the grave still wrapped in cloths. Someone unwraps him so everyone can see his eyes and know that he is indeed alive. Shouts of joy and amazement are heard among the crowd.
At that moment every heart had a choice to make: to believe or to reject Jesus as God’s Son. Some chose to disbelieve and told the Pharisees, hoping to get Jesus into trouble, but many left that place with a renewed relationship with God. The testimony of God’s power stood right in front of them, and they believed.
Every day God makes himself known to the world through His creation, through His Word, through the Holy Spirit, and through miracles. People get to choose whether to believe in Him or not. The enemy will try to distort the truth and sow unbelief, but God’s people will share their testimonies of Christ’s power.
Challenge for Today: Share your testimony with someone.
