Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers (Acts 9:31).

Because of Paul’s conversion, the whole region settled into a place of peace. Paul responded with humility to God’s call. God turned the source of unrest into a source of peace. One man’s transformation impacted an entire region.

God is still in the business of turning sources of unrest into sources of peace. God can take even the biggest distress in a believer’s life and transform it into a place of confidence and reassurance.

Believers can even become peacemakers to introduce the presence of the Prince of Peace into a person, a family, a church body, a workplace, or an entire community. Christians must experience the peace of God, then they will be equipped to share His peace with a troubled world.

Thought for Today: Look for the Prince of Peace in your life, and introduce Him to others.
