Dear Friends,

The long conversation between Job and his friends was coming to an end. Elihu, the youngest of them, had been listening, getting more frustrated by the minute. Finally he spoke, reminding Job that, while Job may see himself as righteous before God, God certainly is a greater than any of them could fathom. Elihu pointed out that it is impossible for us to completely understand God’s power and supremacy.

“God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding” (Job 37:5).

None of us realize just how great and powerful God is. Scientists still have not discovered, much less understood, all that He has created. The endless variety one sees in nature, such as snowflakes, flowers, and people for that matter, demonstrates His greatness. Yet He desires to have a relationship with you and with everyone, great or small.

Thought for Today: God is bigger than you could ever imagine; yet He loves you and is concerned with the smallest details of your life. It doesn’t get any better than that!
