Dear Friends,

Kevin was a new believer and he was frustrated. He did not have a job or a car, and he was living with his sister and her husband. He wanted to go back to school and change his life, but it seemed impossible. He felt like he was living in a pit of despair. He didn’t know what to do.

He decided to wait on the Lord and follow His leading. It took awhile but over time, he was able to get a job. He moved into his own place and bought a car. He even went back to school. Through God’s guidance and help, his situation improved greatly.

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand (Psalm 40:1–2).

No matter where you find yourself, God is with you and is willing to take you to a whole new level if you wait on Him and follow His leading. He will take you from the miry clay and set your feet on a solid rock.

Prayer Suggestion: Father, I am Yours! Help me to make whatever changes You want to make in me.
